Who we are

We are Dan & Nicky. Between us and our children, we run the smallholding and Porky Wrights Rare Breed Pork business.

Our aim is to make this little oasis in Lincolnshire pay for itself one day through sales of pork & sausages and self catering holidays. For self catering holidays, see our links to Kara Mia holiday cottage and Woodpecker Shephers Hut

We have both picked up the smallholding knowledge, through pig courses, sharing knowledge with other like-minded smallholders, trial & error and of course the valuable internet.

Our Boar and Sows

Primarily we have Middle White pigs and source other rare breeds such as Saddlebacks and Large Blacks from other high welfare, dedicated smallholders.
